The Worcester Wolves organize basketball camps throughout the year, inviting players of all skill levels to join in and receive guidance from professional coaches and our team members. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance their basketball abilities while connecting with fellow enthusiasts.
These camps take place at the University of Worcester Arena, which is equipped with changing rooms, hydration stations, and relaxation areas, along with top-notch courts for training.

The Worcester-Valencia International Basketball Camp will take place in 2025.

Worcester Wolves and Valencia Basket are teaming up to create an exceptional summer residential camp for gifted and ambitious young athletes. This program is designed for participants aged 11 to 18.
The coaching staff will feature senior coaches and players from the Worcester Wolves, along with experienced coaches from Valencia Basket, a prominent team in the ACB league.

Dates & Location
The Worcester Wolves and Valencia Camp 2025 is set to take place from the afternoon of Sunday, August 17th, 2025, until the afternoon of Friday, August 22nd, 2025.
Participants will enjoy the camp in the picturesque city of Worcester, utilizing the St Johns Campus for training as well as the renowned University of Worcester Arena, which is considered one of Europe’s top basketball training facilities.
As part of the experience, there will be a half-day team-building activity at our outdoor center located on Lakeside Campus.
A detailed schedule will be shared with all campers prior to their arrival.
Advantages
Intensive Daily Programme
The daily schedule runs from 9 AM to 9 PM and features skill stations, drills, individual workouts and analysis, competitions, along with at least two games each day.
Campers are organized by age and skill level to ensure a challenging yet enjoyable experience at the Worcester/Valencia Basket camp.
Participants will also engage in a half-day team-building activity at our outdoor facility located on Lakeside Campus.

Outstanding Basketball Facilities
The University of Worcester Arena is a remarkable and inclusive venue with a seating capacity of 2,000, featuring three competition basketball courts, courtside teaching areas, a corporate section, and spacious changing rooms equipped with ice baths.
This arena serves as the home ground for the Worcester Wolves and has been utilized as a training site for both GB Men and Women in preparation for the Eurobasket 2015 Championships. It also hosted the 2015 European Wheelchair Basketball Championships.
Additionally, there are two more basketball courts along with fitness facilities at the University’s St. Johns Sports Centre.

The University of Worcester’s campus boasts expansive green spaces that are secure yet welcoming. Participants will enjoy single, roomy bedrooms. Each flat consists of six bedrooms and a lounge area with cozy seating—an ideal spot to unwind after a day on the court!
At our camp, we understand that optimal performance begins with proper nutrition. That’s why we provide catering designed to keep players energized, focused, and ready to perform.
The entire team at the University of Worcester prioritizes health and safety, ensuring the protection of young individuals (with appropriate accreditation) while making sure that everyone who stays with us enjoys a safe and pleasant experience.
Worcester Wolves
The Worcester Wolves are a basketball club featuring three teams: a men’s team, a women’s team, and a women’s wheelchair team. All of these teams compete at the University of Worcester Arena, which has a seating capacity of 2,000.
This club boasts a strong development program and also includes a junior basketball team. Collaborating with the University of Worcester, the club has participated in various international, educational, player development, and research projects.
Valencia Basket
Established in 1986, Valencia Basket stands as one of the premier basketball clubs in both Spain and Europe. Throughout their 30 seasons, they have competed in the Spanish Elite League (ACB) for 27 of those years, reaching the playoff finals once and making it to the semi-finals on four separate occasions.
In 1998, the club celebrated a significant achievement by winning the Spanish Cup in their inaugural year of participation. Valencia Basket boasts an impressive European legacy, being the first team to clinch three Eurocup titles in 2003, 2010, and 2014, which allowed them to compete in the esteemed Euroleague for three consecutive years.
Currently, Valencia Basket has around 7,500 season ticket holders and frequently sells out most of their home games. The ACB team plays its matches at Pabellón Fuente San Luis, which accommodates up to 8,500 spectators.
The youth teams play a vital role in the club’s framework, with over 450 boys and girls training and enjoying basketball under the Valencia Basket banner. This number is set to double with the launch of the new project, La Alqueria del Basket, which will feature 13 basketball courts located just behind the Pabellón Fuente San Luis.
Valencia Basket has a rich history of organizing Basketball Camps for young players, boasting 25 years of experience, and they are always on the lookout for innovative ways to expand and enhance their club.
